The RMS Queen Mary was a British ocean liner and a flagship of the Cunard Line. Launched in 1934, she was celebrated as one of the grandest and fastest ships of her time. During World War II, the Queen Mary was converted into a troopship, earning the nickname “The Grey Ghost” for her speed and stealth. After the war, she returned to passenger service, offering transatlantic crossings marked by luxury, elegance, and cutting-edge design. Alongside her sister ship, the Queen Elizabeth, she helped define the golden age of ocean travel.
